So my not quite 6 week old son slept through the night last night. We put him to bed around 11:30 and he woke up around 7:30. The wife and I are thrilled and have probably won the baby lottery haha

haha nice! my first kiddo would sleep mostly through the night with one wakeup for feeding till one year, then she would sleep 630-630, and my second kiddo would do the same "right out of the box" haha. I woke up more than she did just making sure she was still alive!

We're excited now when our youngest sleeps in his own bed.

It's a two-edged sword. When my kids first started sleeping all night (we've got three), we were still getting up constantly to make sure they were okay. I'm happy for you. People without kids really don't understand. We have twins, and the first few weeks they were home was sleep deprivation hell. I would tell people, "You know how often you gave to get up with a new baby, the feelings, the changings? Double it.

Heh my wife and I thought It would be nice to have twins, we only want 2 kids anyway and we'd be able to get everything done at the same time. Pretty niece lol

Our four month old is up for a feed at least once a night, plus a few more times for a soother. I hope for your sake that it wasn't just a fluke!

It is a nice lottery, but I may have you beat, :). My 2 yr old girl has been going to bed at 11 to 12ish, and wakes up between 10 to 11.

But it is a fantastic lottery, :D

That's been my son's schedule since he was born. So you might be on the right path
